About HKVA

Strengthening community life in Hayes for over 90 years.

The Hayes Village Association is a volunteer-led organisation committed to fostering a strong, connected, and welcoming community for all residents and local businesses.

Who we are

The Hayes Village Association (HVKA) is a well-established residents’ association with a proud history dating back over nine decades. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Hayes by supporting local initiatives, encouraging community participation, and creating opportunities for residents to come together.

As a volunteer-run organisation, we are driven by the passion and dedication of local people who care deeply about the village and its future. HVKA acts as a positive force in the area, helping to maintain the unique character and spirit of Hayes while addressing the evolving needs of its community.

What we do

We organise a range of activities and initiatives that strengthen community spirit and enhance life in Hayes. These include seasonal events, social gatherings, and local improvement projects that bring residents together and celebrate village life. We also work in partnership with local businesses and groups to support a vibrant and connected neighbourhood.

Our village

Hayes is a historic and vibrant village nestled within the London Borough of Bromley. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, independent shops, and green spaces, Hayes blends the charm of traditional village life with the convenience of strong transport links. The area is served by Hayes Station, with Bromley South and West Wickham stations also nearby, offering direct connections to central London and the South Coast.
